On Sunday Dustin and Thomas learned about missionaries in their primary classes. Thomas' teacher made them some pretty realistic looking missionary tags and Thomas came up to me after class with it on and was so proud, he just stood there with his hands on his hips in a superhero pose and grinned from ear to ear. It made me excited for the future when he really will have a tag saying "Elder Hayward". Dustin's teacher gave them a paper to write a letter to a missionary and I realized that there are no missionaries currently serving from either of our families. Steven and I both have pretty big families and so there has always been someone serving at any given time. It is strange that we did not know of a single missionary that he could send a letter to. Fortunately his teacher knows someone and will send it for him.
The boys seem to be getting over their colds finally and it is about time.
Yesterday we went out and worked in the yard for a couple of hours and it was very refreshing. It is exciting to imagine how it will look when we are done with it. We will not be able to afford it all this year but by next year it will look amazing. It is so nice to have the warm weather back and I hope it is here to stay for awhile.
